Seattle University Credit
Overview
Teachers satisfactorily completing AIM Language Learning workshops, Institutes or the AIM Certificate are entitled to apply for post-baccalaureate credits from Seattle University. Each credit is equivalent to 10 hours of study, therefore a two-day workshop is worth one credit, a three-day Institute is worth two credits and Certification is worth 10 credits.
Seattle University offers 900-level post-baccalaureate credits (post-baccalaureate means 'post-graduate, pre-masters') for educators and professionals who have at least an undergraduate degree. Post-baccalaureate credits can be used for teachers for any certification and/or licensure that accepts accredited college/university credits. If you have any question whether your certification/licensing organization accepts these credits please check with them prior to purchasing these credits.
As credit application is optional, the cost of the credit is not included in the basic AIM course price. Each credit costs an additional $40 (USD; non-refundable) payable directly to Seattle University. Payment methods are specified on the College of Education Registration form to be filled out after you attend a workshop.

You will therefore need your credit card details available when you fill out the credit application form at the workshop.
Please note that in order for this coursework to apply to a degree program, it is necessary to obtain prior approval from an academic advisor. Many colleges and universities accept these credits for their degrees. Credits will be reflected on an official academic transcript. It is possible to order up to ten transcripts per quarter, free-of-charge, by submitting the Transcript Request Form to the Office of the Registrar at Seattle University.
