AIM Foundations Teacher Training Program

AIM Foundations Teacher Training provides step-by-step guidance by an AIM Certified Mentor to lead teachers through the implementation of an entire AIM teaching kit.

This program is designed for all AIM teachers to help them realize the full potential of the AIM program and achieve rapid fluency results with their students. For new AIM teachers implementing their first kit, Foundations will help ensure maximum student and teacher success.

AIM Foundations is comprised of a series of six workshops delivered by webinar, or in person when possible, to allow teachers from any location to participate.

The first workshop is offered prior to the teacher giving their first AIM class, and the following five workshops are offered throughout the term as the teacher implements the AIM. The workshops cover specific aspects of teaching with the Accelerative Integrated Methodology (AIM) and are timed to support the teacher in the sequence that activities are introduced in the classroom.
 

Key elements of the Foundations Program:

• Workshops are typically 2 hours long and are interactive, including time for discussion and questions.

• Each series of six workshops is completed over a 4-6 month period.

• AIM Mentors are selected to lead the workshops according to their area of expertise and experience (Primary, Elementary, Junior High, etc.)

• Currently available for teaching English, French or Spanish in either regular or immersion classrooms. Please contact AIM directly to book your Foundations Teacher Training.

The Foundations Training Program includes six-month's access to the AIM Online Teacher Training resource, which provides insight and background information on the topics covered in the Foundations Program workshops.
