AIM Professional Development helps you realize the full potential of the AIM approach by showing you how to implement AIM teaching resources* most effectively. We offer numerous training options to enable you to become the best AIM teacher you can be and achieve the greatest level of success in your language classroom!

1. AIM Foundations Teacher Training Program
The AIM Foundations Program provides step-by-step guidance by an AIM Mentor to lead teachers through the implementation of an AIM teaching kit.
2. AIM Online Teacher Training
AIM Online Teacher Training allows teacher to work independently through 11 modules covering all aspects of the AIM program. The site also includes an online gesture database and a 'Workshops' section with videos of AIM workshops.
3. AIM Teacher Certification
AIM Teacher Certification entails approximately 100 hours of online study and generally takes place over the course of a year's teaching. Becoming a Certified AIM Teacher involves working through the modules in the AIM Online Teacher Training site with the guidance of a mentor who evaluates and helps develop the AIM teacher's skills.
4. AIM Mentorship Training Program
The AIM Mentorship Training Program enables Certified AIM Teachers who have been recommended to enter the program to become mentors capable of helping train and guide beginner AIM teachers.
5. AIM Workshops
AIM hosts hands-on Professional Development workshops led by Certified AIM Teachers in cities around the world. Explore the power of the Accelerative Integrated Methodology at an AIM workshop, and learn directly from leading AIM practitioners.
6. AIM/CEFR Workshops
AIM/CEFR workshops provide a perfect vehicle for teachers to get up to speed with the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), to reflect on their current teaching practice and to suggest tools to succeed in both the teaching and assessment of students.
7. School Board Workshops
AIM conducts workshops for school boards, schools and language centres in Canada and around the world.
From an Introduction to AIM workshop to workshops covering specific topics such as AIM for Primary, AIM for Elementary, AIM for Junior High or AIM and Immersion, among others, we can design workshops to cater to any group's unique requirements.
8. AIM Summer Institutes
Attending an AIM Summer Institute is one of the best ways to learn about AIM and experience language education that really works. The Summer Institutes are action-packed conferences held over three days in early July in Ontario (Summer Institute East) and late August in BC (Summer Institute West) that provide teachers from around the world with the opportunity to work directly with AIM experts in hands-on and specialized workshops.
