Kem Opperman-Torres (B.S., M.Ed.) (AIM Certified Teacher) began teaching in 1995 and has taught in Alabama, Nicaragua, and Louisiana. She currently teaches middle school core Spanish at The Academy of the Sacred Heart in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. In 2013, she brought AIM to her middle school modern language department where it dramatically improved student fluency. She has been astounded at the level of progress in reading, speaking and writing in Spanish since implementing the program. She edited the two newest Spanish kit as AIM expands its program in this language. Kem completed her AIM certification in 2016 and has enjoyed facilitating AIM workshops and Foundations Training in Spanish. She is looking forward to hosting an AIM workshop at her school in 2019.
